Come and find out more about volunteering with the Baby Bank Network and help us celebrate our amazing first year!

As part of Bristol City Council’s Make Sunday Special street parties Baby Bank Network will be celebrating our 1st Birthday in the heart of the city.

This free street party will see St Stephens Street and Corn Street closed off to accommodate stalls and activities, including a baby and child area in the garden of St Stephens Church where there will be plenty of fundraising events to entertain little ones.

We will be meeting outside The Mall at 7pm for a short walk and returning for drinks at around 9pm.  It is an event for our current volunteers but anyone with an interest in helping us as a volunteer is welcome to join us for either the walk or drinks.

The Housing scrutiny panel wants your help!

The Housing Scrutiny Panel (HSP) is small team of council tenants and leaseholders that works with the council and has a big say in the management of council homes. Our important role helps improve council housing.

Find out more about our story, future plans and volunteering opportunities by attending a special tour of the The New Room and Charles Wesley’s House. The tour is being held in Volunteers’ Week to celebrate the important role volunteers play at the New Room and to tell people about the exciting future volunteer opportunities we will have when our new Museum and Visitor Centre opens. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is the culmination of Sports Leadership Programme to try help interact with people in the community. We have 11 local secondary schools coming for a day of physical activity for sessions run by our leaders who been part of our leadership course.
