Children and Young People’s Network meeting
A Plan for Children, Young People and Families in Bristol
Speaker: Michele Farmer, Service Director, Early Help and Intervention, Bristol City Council.
This is an opportunity to get involved and have your say in the development of ‘A Plan for Children, Young People and Families’ in Bristol.
This plan will set out a shared vision and values for work with children, young people and families and show the connection of Education, Safeguarding, Health and Early Intervention. It will give the strategic context for future commissioning, and implementation of the Mayoral City vision, showing how partners will work together to improve children and young people’s wellbeing.
This plan will build on, pull together and signpost to a number of existing strategic documents from across the partnership, and will be endorsed by each of the Partnership Boards in Bristol and by the Mayor. Final approval will then be sought from the Bristol Children and Families Partnership Board (BCFPB). This will be a four year plan spanning 2016-2020.
The development of the plan will consider:
- Where are we now?
- Where do we want to be?
- How are we going to get there?
- How will we know what success looks like?
