Voscur
Voscur has a VCSE Advocate on the Better Care Bristol Transformation Board (BCBTB). Our VCSE Advocate has established a mechanism for the VCSE to engage, in a meaningful way, with Better Care Bristol: The Joint Working Project. We have the full approval of the Better Care Bristol Transformation and Commissioning Boards.

The work involves co-production and collaboration in the early stages of commissioning – it has real potential to influence commissioning processes into doing things differently.

The Joint Working Project is a series of short life projects. Acting as informal collaborations of interested VCSE organisations, we will present back to Better Care Bristol some improvement options and cases for change – this should inform subsequent commissioning processes.

The first project is on falls prevention. The project lead is Dan Lyus, our VCSE Advocate on the Better Care Transformation Board and Development Director of WE Care and Repair.

Our workshop will:
  • Scope out existing VCSE organisations’ service offers
  • Explore solutions to prevent falls or reduce the impact of falls
  • Identify providers who can take forward ideas and solutions
This work will be focused on exploring creative solutions to future prevention of falls.
