What does your organisation do?
Established in 1986, BREAD is a Bristol based charity that works with disadvantaged young people aged 11-25 years to build their skills and confidence through informal and social education, so that they can realise their potential. By working in partnership with local organisations and the communities of Greater Bristol, BREAD supports the development of empowered young people who:

• Make a positive contribution to their communities.
• Celebrate their individuality and cultural identity.
• Take responsibility for their health and personal development.
• Actively represent young people, and share excellence with others.

Currently, BREAD operates one full-time young people’s health and participation project called Lawrence Weston Youth Involvement Project; set in a young people’s Juice and Smoothie bar known as ‘Juicy Blitz’, originally designed by young people as part of a youth owning urban regeneration initiative.
