What does your organisation do?
We offer supported housing for people who are homeless. Temporary supported housing for periods ranging from 6 months to 2 years for single people and families who are homeless. Single people are usually allocated shared accommodation initially. A limited number of self-contained flats are available but vacancies are rare. Applications for housing from families are only accepted via the local authority. Tenants receive support around maintaining their tenancy, managing bills, homeless prevention, welfare advice, life skills, social support, leisure interests, healthcare, social networks and applying for grants. Other specialist support can also be provided around specific issues. Homeless families must apply through their local authority.
