What does your organisation do?
EMAP are an Action For Children Multi Agency Project who have been commissioned by Bristol City Council to co-ordinate the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) Interventions for children & young people aged 0 to 19 and their families. The children & young people who are referred to EMAP for multi agency support are deemed to require support other than universal provision e.g. schools, GPs, etc. EMAP works in partnership with a variety of agencies & organisations such as schools, education psychology, behaviour support, social care, the youth service, Connexions, housing, police, health, CAHMS and voluntary & community groups to provide a co-ordinated intervention that aims to address the needs that have been raised through the CAF assessment of the children, young people & their families.
