Voscur has teamed up with WorkPlace HR to provide tailored support to local voluntary and community sector groups about day-to-day human resource management and employee transfers (TUPE*).
 
If you need help with an HR or employment issue (see the examples below), call Voscur (0117 909 9949) and, once we've established your organisation's requirements and eligibility, we will forward your enquiry to WorkPlace HR who can offer a range of information and support to resolve your issue and move your organisation forward.
 
This service is for local voluntary and community sector organisations and is provided free or at a special rate for full Voscur members. (If you're not already a Voscur member, find out about joining here.)
 
Example support issues
 
When contacting Voscur, we will first help you ensure the issue is something relating to HR and employment law, then clarify the initial details, in order to make best use of the support available. Relevant issues, for example, could include:
  • Advice regarding employment terms, conditions and contracts
  • Drafting and maintaining a Staff Handbook
  • Guidance about producing and updating policies and procedures
  • Dealing with specific disciplinary issues
  • Consulting staff and managing TUPE transfers of staff between organisations
