Are you (or do you know of) a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Staff, Health Care Worker, Social Care Worker or someone who is employed to work on a 1:1 basis with a person who is deaf or hearing impaired, blind or visually impaired or who has multi-sensory impairment ? 

Yes?  Then enrol in Sense’s 5-day Intervenor course which has been specifically designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to carry out your role.

Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, those with sensory impairments and those with complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives.

You will receive a certificate of attendance on successful completion of the five day course and can then be classed as a Trained Intervenor eligible to join the National Organisation of Intervenors and attend annual NOI Network days.  This course meets the requirements of the Intervenor Standards issued by NatSIP and the DfE.

Course dates: Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd, Monday 7th, Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th November 2016
