Eagle House Youth Centre, Newquay Road, Filwood, Bristol BS4 1EF

This is an opportunity for voluntary/community organisations or social enterprises that are looking for accommodation in South Bristol.

The former Eagle House Youth Centre has been declared 'surplus' to the council's requirements and may be available for re-use from March 2015.

Until April 2014, the property was used as a Youth Centre, managed by the Bristol Youth Links service. It is no longer used for youth purposes.

The council is interested in hearing from any voluntary or community group, social enterprise, faith-based organisation or any other not-for-private-profit organisation.
The aim is to bring the building back into active use, so that it can continue to be of service to the local community and the people of Bristol.

At this stage, no decision has been made about the longer-term use of the building. The council is exploring alternative uses and is inviting proposals for any non-commercial use.

A reduced or 'peppercorn' rent may be available for organisations that meet the eligibility criteria.

Groups or organisations interested in taking over the building need to submit an Expression of Interest by Fri 2 January 2015.
