After the passing of new legislation regarding radicalisation and extremism, Voscur will be offering training in response to increasing concerns about the Prevent Duties imposed by the Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015.

Date/Time:
Tuesday, 23 May, 2017 - 09:30 to 12:30

The aim of this course is to support practitioners and managers working in (often non-clinical) children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing settings to understand outcomes focused practice and why it is important for their organisation. Participants will understand the benefits of implementing an outcomes approach and how this could be developed at their organisation. Part of the session will cover practical aspects of choosing and using outcome and feedback measures. Participants will also be aware of the types of CORC support available and how to access this support.

Date/Time:
Wednesday, 24 May, 2017 - 13:00 to 15:00

Children and Young People

Bristol is a young city where the next generations will be among the most diverse in the country. A third of young people grow up in poverty, however, and homelessness and poor mental health are more prevalent than average, putting family life under pressure. Voscur's Children & Young People's service works to positively influence services for young people through strategic representation, sharing skills and experience and supporting best practice.
