Wessex Water Money Matters

Wessex Water believe in helping people to understand financial matters and take effective decisions regarding money. Wessex Water is working with Quartet Community Foundation to administer Wessex Water Money Matters grants for activities that support financial capability and money management projects for people who face financial difficulties in the West of England.

The Nisbet Trust is funded by a property based endowment portfolio and was set up in 2012. Charity Number 1143496.

It supports organisations mainly in the Greater Bristol area which provide:

  • Social welfare prioritising disadvantaged young people and homelessness
  • Education including advancement of skills and employability
  • The Arts

Applicants must be a registered charity, exempt charity, not-for-profit social enterprise or community interest company benefitting communities in the Greater Bristol area.

Bristol City Council has announced that the Local Area Targeted Youth Services tender is now live on Pro Contract. Those who wish to view the tender (and potentially apply), can access the portal here.

The tender will stay open until Monday 9th October 2017 at 12pm.

The Youth Sector Support Targeted Youth Services Tender will go live on 8th September 2017.

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust was set up in 1982, by Mrs Jean Beryl Lilian Sainsbury, and is a registered charity (No. 326358). Since then, the Trust has given over £8.6 million to animal welfare charities.

The Trust has seven Trustees including two practising veterinary surgeons, one of whom is a partner in a mixed small animal, farm animal and equine practice and the other specialises in birds and wildlife.

The objectives of the Trust are to donate to UK registered charities whose purposes encompass one or more of the following:
