The UK Government has launched a new digital scheme to support small and medium sized businesses (minimum 5 employees) in adopting digital technologies so they can grow. Under the Help to Grow: Digital scheme, businesses can receive discounts of up to £5,000 off the costs of buying approved Digital Accounting and Customer Relationship Management software that will help them to effectively manage their finances and build customer relationships, enabling them to scale up their operations.

Registered charities that work towards combating abuse and violations of human rights can apply for grants from the A B Charitable Trust. The Trust supports unpopular causes that champion human dignity. They focus on small and medium-sized charities working close to the ground. Applications are particularly welcomed from charities working to support:

 • migrants and refugees

 • criminal justice and penal reform

Charities, local authorities, schools and other not-for-profit organisations will shortly be able to apply for a share of £10 million in funding to expand the reach, number and range of youth services and facilities currently on offer to young people in ‘left behind’ areas of England. The funding is being made available through Phase 1 of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Youth Investment Fund and will be administered by the BBC’s Children in Need.

Social Enterprises can apply for grants from £10,000 to £100,000 to help get back on track. Most grants will be between £10,000 and £50,000.

The application window for round 2 is 1pm on 28 February until 1pm on 24 March 2022.

Bristol Pride Community Fund has been created to provide opportunities and activities which enhance or improve the lives of LGBT+ people in Bristol and the surrounding areas. 

Grants can be offered to individuals, collectives, organisations or small charities to deliver projects that address issues that affect us all, help under-represented groups reach out and help LGBT+ community events that just need a little support.

Imkaan, the UK-based umbrella women's organisation dedicated to addressing violence against Black and Minoritised women and girls, is making grants of up to £50,000 available to specialist Black and minoritised women and girls' organisations who deliver frontline support addressing violence against women and girls. Framework 4 of Margin to Centre – A Fund for the Black and Minoritised Women and Girls’ sector aims to re-dress inequality and support the frontline work of organisations working to end violence against women and girls in England and Scotland.

Grants of £500 are available to local not-for-profit groups, households and individuals for events and activities which commemorate the lives of members of the Black, Asian and Minoritised Ethnic (BAME) community which have been lost during the Covid-19 pandemic in the UK. This could include anything from a memorial service to commissioning a work of art for the community, and/or further fundraising activities which help recipients commemorate the lives of those lost in a way that is meaningful to them.

The Leathersellers Company is seeking applications from small charities who are providing vital services for vulnerable people in deprived communities across the UK. The Small Grants Programme will award grants of up to £3,000 to organisations with an annual income of less than £200,000. Partnerships are encouraged. The number of applications will be capped and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Committee will meet regularly to ensure charities receive a decision within a month of submitting their application.

The BBC’s Children in Need has developed a new grant making strategy which will launch in Spring 2022. The aim of the strategy is to improve accessibility, equity, diversity and inclusion, and make it easier for projects to apply for funding. The Children in Need Main and Small Grants Programme has been paused whilst this new strategy is put into action. Existing projects will continue to receive funding and support, and grants will continue to be awarded through their various partnership programmes.
