Come to our open day, part of Bristol Open Doors, and explore Blaise's wonderful, walled Victorian garden.  Take a guided tour and learn all about the history of the garden and how the Victorians used plants for cooking and medicine.  There will also be a cafe and plant sale and some family friendly activities.

The chance for anyone who can't ride a bike independently to give cycling a go!

Life Cycle UK is partnering with Ride Out Ride On to offer people who are visually impaired or disabled the chance to experience the joys and freedoms of cycling.

Our friendly team will be at the CREATE Centre to chat to people about our programme of sociable group rides for people who can't ride a bike independently - and enable anyone who is interested to give it a try.

These workshops will explore each of the five ways to wellbeing - Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. We recommend you attend all 5 sessions of the rolling programme to feel the full benefits.

There is an opportunity for a 20 minute 1-2-1 session with a wellbeing worker.

Rooted is a contemporary dance theatre production packed with emotive imagery and rich textured movement, bringing together unheard stories from those living in isolation. Performed by passionate young dancers using visceral group choreography, it examines what it means to feel alone. This commissioned piece explores the duality of isolation and assimilation through contemporary dance theatre.

The day is designed to be as interactive as possible, art workshops, games, performances from the infamous Granny Rap and the beautiful harmonies from the Melody Makers choir, inspired poetry, monologues from the wonderful Alonely group, soul searching melodies from Kimberleigh....

As part of Bristol Food Connections, join us in preparing simple, healthy food that we will be cooking outdoors.  Our new pizza oven will be up and running, plus there will be lots of other tasty treats that we will be sharing as a picnic in our beautiful walled, Victorian garden.  A group from Blaise museum will be coming along too, demonstrating food from the past.  Come and join us and help make it Blaise's biggest and best picnic.
