THE BLACK PANTHERS: VANGUARD OF THE REVOLUTION is the first feature length documentary to explore the Black Panther Party, its significance to the broader American culture, its cultural and political awakening for black people, and the painful lessons wrought when a movement derails.

ARKBOUND is celebrating the launch of its new magazine, Boundless, to coincide with national Social Saturday.

At this launch event you can meet local artists and writers, as well as pick up your copies of Boundless and see some of the great work we are doing.

Free refreshments will be provided. The event is held from Friday-Sunday (9th-11th October) from 10am to 6pm in the 123 Arts Space, which is just next to 'The Little Shop'.

The Julian House Dragon Boat festival is a faced paced and actioned packed event taking place on Bristol's Harbourside.

15 teat, each with up to 17 rowers will battle it out through a series of short heats through the day. Only one can be crowned the event champion!

Voluneers are needed to help Julian House make the day a great one.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles including;

traffic marshalling (from 8am)
water side marsall (from 8am)
team support (from 10am)
