Towards the end of 2015 we began a study of the green organisations working with volunteers in Bristol. We spoke with over 100 organisations, collected survey contributions from 62 of those and interviewed 14 of them. 
This study aimed to collect and understand some of the challenges and successes of organisations working with volunteers and make sense of those, with the goal of sharing models for success with the community sector and the wider hope of generally improving the volunteer experience in the city.
