As a specialist working in Early Years we would like you to attend, listen to the story of ‘Bella and the Bluebirds’ and experience a creative workshop. First launched at UNESCO’s prestigious conference in Canada this March, 'Bella and the Blue Birds' has gained Global interest and respect.

A half day (4 hrs) course looking at how to complete effective application forms for ESA, DLA for children, AA and PIP. The course will look at the forms in some detail and go through best practice for form completion to enable the applicant to have the best chances of success on application.  There is a mix of theoretical and practical situations.  Some basic background knowledge of benefits would be required to get the most out of the session but specialist knowledge is not necessary.

A free training evening exploring the transitions that young people navigate in adolescence. How might we support them as they grow in their understanding of who they are?

VolTrain is a partnership between several organisations, including Bristol City Council, to equip, resource and train volunteer youth workers in the Bristol area. It is open to all volunteer youth workers across both statutory and voluntary sectors and is completely free. Paid workers may also attend if they are accompanying volunteers.
