£20 million fund for charities affected by coronavirus emergency

20 October, 2020

The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has opened a £20m fund to distribute its share of the government’s coronavirus support package.

Small and medium-sized charities in England have until 10 November to apply to the CAF Resilience Fund for between £10,000 and £100,000. Organisations must have an income of over £50,000 and be able to spend the grant by the end of March 2021.

CAF says that its funding will be flexible, allowing charities to spend grants on core costs.

The fund will make grants to organisations working on a broad range of social issues, including helping survivors of domestic abuse, BAME, people in poverty, children and young people, the unemployed, and people with physical or learning disabilities.
