Funding of £500-10,000 is available for VCSE organisations working to improve health and social care, thanks to hyvr, a social media platform developed by the West of England Academic Health Science Network. The aim of the fund is to encourage links between healthcare users and innovators, and to promote the use of hyvr.

Proposals must be submitted from either a single VCSE organisation or from a lead organisation collaborating with others. Each proposal for funding should be fully implemented by January 2020.

The hyvr network will be used by funding applicants during the process, to connect with at least 50 people if applying for smaller bids, and at least 200 people if applying for larger bids.

Applications close at midday on Thursday 21 February 2019, and a shortlist will be released on Monday 25 February 2019, with successful applicants notified by Tuesday 12 March 2019.
