UK registered charities who are working to combat abuse and violations of human rights and to support the disadvantaged, have until the 19th May 2017 to apply for funding through the AB Charitable Trust.
In particular, the Trust is seeking applications from charities working to support refugees and asylum seekers; prisoners and penal reform; and those addressing the needs of the most marginalised and neglected groups in society.
Grants range in size, with most grants awarded being in the range £10,000 to £20,000. UK registered charities with an income of between £150,000 and £1.5 million are eligible to apply. The Trust does not normally fund charities with large national or international links.
