Grants to help heal community division

Community division
16 December, 2019

Allen Lane Foundation is currently offering grants to grassroots organisations to enable them to run activities which will bring people together and help heal the divisions that the Brexit referendum opened up.

This funding is part of the Social Cohesion Programme, which has three aims:

  • Build better community cohesion and trust.
  • Proactively promote the inclusion of groups that are currently marginalised.
  • Fund work that breaks down barriers and tensions, such as the 'us and them' mentality, in communities.

Groups and organisations should have experience of working at a very local level. You may have come up with your own ideas for solving community division. Applications are particularly encouraged from deprived areas.
