Bristol City Council is consulting on its draft five-year strategy for homelessness and rough sleeping.

The strategy sets out information about the scale and causes of homelessness and rough sleeping in the city and how the council will prevent and tackle the issue.

The council has worked with a wide range of organisations over the last six months to develop a new strategy that better reflects current issues and priorities for tackling high levels of homelessness and rough sleeping in the city.

The council is now opening the consultation to the wider public in order to inform citizens and to seek comments on the current draft.

The consultation closes on 27 May.
