New Funding Round to Tackle Hate Crime and Online Harassment on Campus (England)

11 July, 2017

The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) has launched a new funding round through its Catalyst Fund. This is a £30 million annual fund that aims to drive innovation in the Higher Education sector. During this funding round, support is available for projects submitted by Higher Education and Further Education colleges (directly funded by the HEFCE) in England for projects that tackle hate crime and online harassment on campus. Grants of up to £50,000 are available.

For example, Guildhall School for Music and Drama received funding to establish an England-wide framework through which academic early career researchers and creative SMEs and micro businesses can develop mutually beneficial relationships.
