Unrestricted grants for small organisations working with marginalised groups

£50 pound notes arranged flat
7 April, 2021

The summer round of unrestricted grants from The Fore will open for applications at 10am from 12 April 2021, giving up to £30,000, which can be spread across three years.

The aim is to support small organisations, which will be transformed by the funding, and therefore able to be more sustainable, grow in size, become more efficient, or take a step forward.

Eligible small organisations will:

  • Support marginalised groups and communities. The Fore is particularly interested in hearing from organisations that serve the kind of groups or people that have struggled to be funded by trusts and foundations in the past.
  • Be a registered charity, CIC, CIO, or Community Benefit Society.
  • Have a registered turnover of less than £500,000 in the last financial year.

There are several stages to the application, so don't wait to apply, as applications will close early if the cap on numbers is reached.

The deadline for registered applications is 5pm on Tuesday 4 May 2021. Funding decisions will be announced in July 2021.
