Many people and organisations working with children and young people are interested in the new Targeted Youth Services (formerly Bristol Youth Links). The award of the new contracts is due to happen in the next week or so.

We will be hosting a Workshop for Providers to contribute to the Sexual Violence Pathways needs assessment of Avon and Somerset.

9.45am - Teas and Coffees available on arrival.
10am -1pm Workshop

This will be an opportunity to identify any strengths, weaknesses, gaps, barriers to access or structural issues in the sexual violence pathways, bringing to the discussion the experience you have as a practitioner in your field.

The Volunteer Organisers' Forum is used to promote and share best practice for those managing or coordinating volunteers. We currently meet quarterly to discuss a variety of issues relevant to volunteering such as volunteer recruitment, employability, DBS checks, volunteer retention, thank you events, welfare reform impacts, volunteers and the law amongst others.

This event will take place at UWE and will cover:

This follows on from “Making the Best Case for Funding” session we are running, and is a chance for you to book 30 minutes with a Voscur fundraising expert to discuss your bid in detail and take away some feedback you can use to improve your bid before the deadline.

This workshop will look at how to make the best possible case for funding from the PCRF. We’ll cover how to describe your project clearly, define and evidence your impact and make your application stand out.

You’ll get the most from this workshop if you’ve already taken a good look at the application form and started to draft your answers.

Owned by the sector, co-designed and facilitated by Voscur, the development of a new strategy and Compact for Bristol’s VCSE sector will help us all focus on what we want the sector to be and how we want to work together and with others.
