Bristol has a wide variety of social prescribing practitioners, supporters and networks. Many are self-funded, some are supported by Bristol Public Health and others by grant making trusts. Whilst a rich variety of social prescribing practices has its advantages, there is also a desire for Bristol to have a more co-ordinated approach, ensuring the best use of our shared assets, share good practice and clarify referral routes.
