This Trustee Network event will focus on the VCS Grants Prospectus from a trustee perspective. It will include making strategic decisions, for example, deciding if the prospectus is right for your organisation or identifying which other organisations your organisation might want to collaborate with.

The session will cover things to think about related to the governance of your organisation; there will be an opportunity to discuss issues and ideas with trustees of other organisations.

Over the course of the day we will look at HR processes related to informal or formal performance management, methods to engage staff and coaching skills to get staff resolving problems themselves.

The format will be informal and conversational, so bring along any issues you may be dealing with for discussion.

This training will be ideal for new managers who have recently taken on managing staff. It will also suit managers who want to review the way they manage their team.
