We are looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate and committed youth worker to join our dedicated team in South Glos.

You will be delivering services in South Gloucestershire for young people aged 11 – 19. The role will include a combination of 1:1 work, small group work, outreach and open access delivery. You will be responsible for a managing a varied caseload of vulnerable young people.
You will have two years’ experience of delivering a range of interventions to achieve outcomes for young people through effective use of resources and targeted delivery.
You will be expected to have the confidence to challenge a diverse group of young people and fuel their motivation to engage with the service. You’ll also need to demonstrate an ability to build effective, meaningful and trusting relationships with young people, empowering them and providing tailored guidance.
Travel is required for this role. You will also be expected to work a minimum of two evenings per week, therefore flexibility is also essential.

Salary: £22,605 FTE per annum, grade 2.2
Hours: 32 hours per week, 1-year fixed term (with possibility of extension)
