Bristol Beacon has been part of Bristol’s cultural heritage for 150 years and this is a time of major change for us as we move towards reopening our iconic venue next year.  Over the past four years we have undertaken a major capital project to transform our spaces that will create a world-class venue for the region.  Our vision is to unite people through the joy of live music, and we achieve this through a diverse programme of inspirational musical experiences.  We are also home to the award winning Music Education Hub for Bristol, now in its ninth year.

Our CEO’s EA will join our creative and welcoming team and provide direct PA and diary management support to our CEO and the Chair of our Board, and play a significant role in supporting our Senior Management team and Board on a day to day basis, and as they work with funding stakeholders, major donors, and patrons to deliver the final stages of our major transformation.  The post-holder will also work with the rest of our wider staff team as we build the vision for the future.

The successful candidate will have strong PA experience at CEO/Board level, experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders, excellent communication skills and the ability to work pro-actively as part of a team, developing strong relationships with our wider Senior Management team and board members.  An interest or experience in supporting organisational special projects would be advantageous as the postholder will also provide key administration support for our Sustainability ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly-organised individual to join our dynamic arts organisation as we deliver the final stages of the largest arts infrastructure investment project undertaken in the Southwest for many years.

We are committed to diversity, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community, We particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.

Closing date for applications: 9.00am on Monday 31 January 2022

Bristol Beacon recognise, respect and value individual difference.  We are committed to the wellbeing of our staff and to being an Equal Opportunities employer and attracting diverse talent from sections of the community currently underrepresented in the culture sector to help us to develop a more diverse workforce.  We hold silver status for the Charter of Best Practice from Attitude is Everything, and we are Disability Confident Committed.
