Social Media Manager For Environmental/Arts Based Non-Profit

TwoBirds Art
Contract Type:
Part Time
2-3 hours per week (or more if available)
Details of Role:

TwoBirds Art is a Bristol-based non-profit organisation, set up to support artists and the planet. Through sales of our artwork (which is a collection of works from over 60 artists in over 30 countries globally), we fundraise for a range of environmental charities (Avon Wildlife Trust, Friends Of The Earth, Rainforest Trust, Ocean Generation, and The Hunger Project).

To help us grow, we are now looking for a Social media manager, to coordinate with the director in:

  • growing our Instagram following and building our online community by interacting with existing and potential followers
  • communicating with the artists in our collective and helping to spread and share their work
  • helping us plan and launch our new Twitter and Pinterest accounts
  • planning, preparing, scheduling, and posting a diverse range of interesting and engaging content on our main social media platforms

To begin with, these responsibilities will be shared with the charity director, until the point at which the SMM is able to fulfil the tasks on their own.

To fulfil these responsibilities, we are looking for somebody who:

  • has experience/interest in the arts (preferably but not necessarily illustration/graphic design/painting)
  • is deeply motivated to help us on our mission (to help artists to thrive and our planet to survive)
  • has experience managing social media platforms, or believes they have the necessary skills to do so
  • can think in creative and innovative ways that will help us build our community

If you are not sure that you meet all of the criteria, please don't be put off. We'd love to hear from you about how you think you can contribute!

Closing Date:
Monday, 1 August, 2022 - 00:00
How to Apply:

To apply, please send an email to, detailing why you think you would be a good candidate for the position (include things like relevant experience, interests, skills, availability etc). If you have a CV or portfolio that you believe is relevant to the position, please feel free to attach this as well.

Thanks for taking the time to view this role, we can't wait to hear from you!
