Safeguarding Case Worker
14 hours per week, permanent.
£12,044.80 (based on pro rata £30,112 FTE)

The Diocese of Bristol is committed to ensuring that our churches are safe places in the heart of our communities. We are adding capacity to our safeguarding team as part of a wider programme.
The safeguarding case worker will undertake this key role alongside another case worker and the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser as part of a small team. The Case Worker will ensure safeguarding concerns are responded to and past cases are reviewed in line with current best practice. You will ensure that support is offered and provided to victims and survivors of abuse in a church context.
You will have substantial professional experience in the safeguarding of adults and children and the ability to analyse complex information and develop relationships in sensitive contexts.
The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
