We are looking for someone who would like to join our friendly team of staff and volunteers, helping us to improve the lives of older people in Bristol. We work closely with other voluntary organisations who share our ambition to build an age-friendly city. Building back after the pandemic makes this an exciting time to join our team and we are looking for someone with the drive and commitment to help us make a difference.
We are currently seeking a Project Co-ordinator to help develop and deliver community-based clinics that are run in conjunction with a nursing team. This project needs a highly organised person who can capture the outcomes through effective monitoring and reporting.
As Project Co-ordinator you will develop a welcoming environment for people attending to have their leg wounds dressed. This includes supporting older people by actively listening and responding to their needs, signposting them to appropriate support, providing information, advice and opportunities to enable them to connect up with others in their local community. You will have responsibility for supporting volunteers in delivering the clinics in community settings in south and north Bristol. The clinic in south Bristol is held at the Withywood Centre and will require you to work from there for one day per week. The venue for the clinic in north Bristol is currently being sought. If you share our passion for enabling older people to live independently, and for providing top-quality support, we would love to hear from you.
