Relate Avon is a small, independent and successful charity. We are part of the national federation of Relate - the UK's largest provider of relationship support. From our offices in Bristol and Bath we deliver a range of services including relationship counselling, family counselling and sex therapy across the four local authorities (Bristol, South Glos, B&NES and North Somerset).

The opportunity (challenge!) is to join a new Board of Trustees to direct and support Relate Avon in developing and providing an even better service to individuals, couples, throuples and families across the region.

We are seeking talented individuals who can bring expertise, experience and enthusiasm; who can work collaboratively; and who want to support relationships. We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience in Financial Management, HR, Business Development, IT, Property and Fundraising - although these are not essentials. 

As part of this development, we are also keen to recruit a new Chair and Treasurer.

The full Board meets four to six times per year with separate meetings for sub-groups focussing on particular topic areas or initiatives.
