The Bristol Disability Equality Forum has co-produced the world's first Community Climate Action plan by and for Disabled people.
This role will be working to make the transport aims in our climate plan happen. That means making buses, bikes, trains and walking in Bristol better for Disabled and making sure that Disabled people who have to drive are still able to.
Key Outcomes and Activities
a) Run outreach events and communication campaigns,
b) Talking to the council and public transport providers to get them to support our aims,
c) Working with public transport service providers to provide accessibility training for staff,
d) Working with the council and researchers to work out how Disabled people who have to drive can do so in ways that are good for the planet.
