Who are we?
We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing:

  • Providing support to young Asylum Seekers to ensure they successfully integrate into the local community and access the services they are entitled to.
  • Facilitate young Asylum Seekers to gain their leave to remain in the UK.
  • Support young Asylum Seekers to access and sustain suitable accommodation.
  • Working with a dynamic and creative team to ensure young Asylum Seekers have access to the support and services they need to thrive.

You will be in the Asylum & Refugees Intensive Support team based within the wider South Gloucestershire team and your line manager will be the Asylum and Refugees (Intensive Support) Team Leader.

Contract details: 

  • Hours per week: 1x 30 hours per week and 1 x 22.5 hours per week (these represent a 0.8 & 0.6 full time equivalent role)
  • Contract type: permanent
  • Pay: £27,852 (pro rata based on the 0.8 or 0.6 equivalent)
  • The location: Based in 1625ip’s office in Old Market, Bristol or Patchway, South Gloucestershire, with an ability to work from other locations in Bristol and occasionally from home.
