Drama group facilitator – covering weekly drama group sessions on Wednesday afternoons based in Horfield. The group is currently made up of 5 adults who reside within the service and have a range of mental health needs and learning difficulties.
Required experience/skills: Experience of planning and facilitating groups, preferably with this client group is desired but applications from students training in this field would be welcomed.
An understanding of complex mental health needs and how to adapt facilitation style accordingly. Good communication skills. Knowledge of drama based methods to use with groups, improvisation techniques, games, movement exercises etc. A creative, playful, energetic and motivating approach when interacting with the group members.
Salary – unpaid volunteer role but travel expenses covered.
Hours: 1 hour of group facilitation, extra time will be needed outside of this for planning each session. Regular meetings with Keystones staff as required to supervise the work. Support staff to attend the group to assist.
Location: Horfield, Bristol.
Closing date: Monday 20th February 2023.
Covering maternity leave – one year temporary contract March 2023 – March 2024.
