This role will coordinate, develop, and deliver a wide range of equality, diversity, inclusion and hate crime training and consultancy packages for a variety of agencies and organisations including schools and youth related agencies. The overarching aim of this post is to further preventative aims and objectives by raising awareness of the nature, extent and impact of prejudice, discrimination, and hate.
The post holder is also required to educate and equip clients with the skills to prevent and tackle these negative behaviours whilst promoting positive cultures and values to maximize the positive difference SARI makes in the communities we serve.
This role is income generating and will be developing SARI’s traded services in training and education. The aim is for the post holder to raise the income to cover the cost of the role after 1 year and to generate additional income over and above the costs of the role within 2 years. This income would then help fund our frontline services. Furthermore, throughout all delivery, the role will promote knowledge of and use of SARI’s services and will deliver in-house training to SARI staff, service users or Board members where appropriate.
