Hi, my name is Liz and Im a partially disabled female artist  living in the Totterdown area of Bristol. 

I am very creative and am an independent person with a good sense of humour and though Iʼm in my forties, I have a  younger outlook. 

I enjoy gardening, going to the cinema, theatre, dining out with friends, getting out in nature, exhibitions and travelling. I’m a non-smoker and have a rescue cat who is a friendly ball of fluff! 

No personal care needed. 

 
The PA role involves-
*light domestic tasks
*food shopping 
*laundry
*driving
*food prep
*help with the garden 
*attending social activities 
*encouraging me with my physio 
*taking me to the pottery studio
*phone calls and admin
*getting me out in nature

 

 The ideal candidate(s) would  ideally have following skills/traits that -

*Good communicator
*patient 
*good memory 
*Positive outlook
*time management 
*multi tasker
*Proactive 
*Able to take direction and work independently 
*Driver with own car
*Enjoys a fast paced work environment

* Non Smoker preferable
*Some care experience preferable but not essential 

DBS check will be required but if you don’t have one this can easily be arranged via Wecil.

 
The 15 hours would  be worked over two shifts a week  ( ideally Mondays and Wednesdays) though I can be flexible with days/lengths of shift as needed if Wednesday not doable, hours could be done over three days or to include weekends/evenings if that’s easier but working Mondays is essential. I would prefer one care assistant ideally that could  do the entire 15 hours however am open to splitting the shifts between two applicants if necessary.  

Training will be given.

*As above, Wednesdays can have flexibility however availability on Monday morning - afternoon is essential. specifically a minimum of 5 hours on the Monday, 9-2:30 although ideally 9-4:30.

*Access to a car is essential for the role, when contacting, please let us know whether your car is exempt from the Clean Air Zone or not as the role requires you to drive through central Bristol from time to time.

*The job requires some physical work, for instance; light gardening, bending to reach pots and pans, carrying shopping bags where needed. 

The job is 15 hours, but there is an option for those looking for work of 5 / 10 / 15 hours per week as the role can be split amongst several carers.

Role expects to start at the end of May.
