You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and work with council officers, local organisations, developers and contractors to address and respond to the day-to-day queries of the community, provide regular updates on progress across all projects and work cross-departmentally to plan proactive communications.

You’ll be responsible for supporting project managers and project board members in the planning, organisation and implementation of different high profile, complex regeneration projects all contributing towards the delivery of new homes, jobs, leisure and local employment opportunities. This will include producing regular programme and project progress reports.

You’ll also be involved in commissioning project work to support the delivery of regeneration projects, as well as planning and leading community engagement events. In addition, you’ll maintain strong working relationships cross-departmentally internally, including with Development Management, Legal and Highways, Community Development, Communications and Engagement and externally with community organisations, developer partners and contractors

One of the roles will be focused on the Bedminster Green regeneration area and will have a particular focus on community liaison and supporting community wealth building. The role will involve working with local stakeholders and organisations including Platform Places, Action Greater Bedminster, Windmill Hill City Farm and local businesses to respond to queries and help drive forward delivery of both meanwhile and permanent social infrastructure to ensure local people feel the benefits of regeneration.

What do I need to have?

If you have a passion for creating great places and experience of working in a project delivery environment, we would welcome an application from you. Ideally, you’ll also have experience of community engagement, stakeholder management alongside preparing, maintaining and updating project documentation such as business cases, benefit plans, risk logs and highlight reports, project communications and successfully supporting the delivery of projects.
