Supporting students to lead, organise and make change, could you be our next
Policy and Campaigns Co-Ordinator?

Are you a critical thinker with a keen interest in politics and current affairs? Can you turn tricky policy into plain speaking actions? We’re looking for someone to join our vibrant and passionate team, to support students to lead, organise and make change. We need someone who is interested in keeping up with the latest political happenings and government policy that could impact students at Bristol.  You’ll use that knowledge to support our student leaders, officers and groups to influence, lobby and campaign. You’ll be a key advisor, ensuring that our students have access to the best evidence to have an impact on their experience. You’ll also be keen to get into the detail of university policy, to help prepare students for key meetings and committees.

You don’t have to have worked in higher education or in a students’ union before. But we are looking for someone who can help us ensure that our campaigns and influencing work is credible and reflects the latest thinking in the sector. You’ll be an awesome communicator, interested in driving change and co-ordinating volunteers to have a positive impact.

Our team isn’t as representative of our student body as we’d like it to be. So we’re particularly keen to hear from you if you’re Black, disabled, Transgender, working class or have any other marginalised experience. It’s important to us that we diversify our team and that students see themselves represented here.
