St Peter's Hospice has been serving our community since 1978 providing services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

They are now looking for a committed and dynamic professional to lead this exceptional charity as its’ new CEO. The St Peter’s Hospice brand, reputation and financial sustainability are as strong as they have ever been, and this is a rare opening for a visible and engaged CEO who shares a commitment to their ambition, purpose, values and ways of working.  The successful candidate will join at an exciting time as they look for a CEO to lead the hospice through a post-pandemic period of service enhancement and then on to a sustainable long-term future.

St Peter’s Hospice services make a huge difference to patients and families across the communities they serve, and they are privileged to benefit from tremendous goodwill, support and generosity from their communities.

The CEO will work with the Trustees and Executive Team to develop the strategy for the organisation, with responsibility and accountability for implementing key initiatives for the future of St Peter’s Hospice.

Candidates will ideally bring demonstrable experience of:

Providing visible engaged leadership, ensuring the hospice delivers high quality clinical services sustaining the financial viability of the hospice.

Ensuring teams work efficiently and effectively across the hospice, assuring the hospice’s statutory and commissioned obligations are fulfilled.

Working closely with health, care, and civic partners, Integrated Care System structures, voluntary sector bodies, local authorities and regulators.

Ensuring that the hospice is an effective working environment for all people and communities it serves, enabling the hospice to recruit and retain appropriate staff and volunteers.
