Join Our Team as a Volunteer Delivery Driver!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you want to be a part of a dynamic community working towards reducing food insecurity and empowering Bristol’s 16-25 year olds? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

About Us: The MAZI Project

The MAZI Project is a youth-led charity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged individuals aged 16-25 through food. We focus on supporting care leavers, young asylum seekers, and those recovering from homelessness and domestic violence. Our innovative approach involves delivering weekly meal kits filled with fresh, local, and organic ingredients, encouraging young people to develop their cooking skills while enjoying fresh, local, tasty food.

Role Details: Volunteer Delivery Driver

As a committed and reliable volunteer delivery driver, you will play a crucial role in our MAZI community. Your primary responsibility will be delivering our meal boxes across Bristol to the young people we support.

The collection is from 2pm from North Street, Bedminster. You can also collect between 5 - 7pm for those keen to support after work.

Ideally we would need 4-6 deliveries dropped per shift, and we will endeavor to make these as local to you as possible!

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full UK driver's licence held for 3 years or more
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Willingness to contribute to our mission of reducing food insecurity and boosting the confidence of young people

Benefits of Joining Us:

  • By becoming a part of the MAZI community, you will:
  • Make a tangible difference in addressing food insecurity in Bristol
  • Support the growth and development of young people in our community
  • Enjoy the community and support of a passionate team
