The Plus Importance Project is a new organisation, focused on improving the rights, respect and representation of those that identify fully or partly in the + of LGBT+. We work with organisations to support and encourage them to be more + inclusive.

As a Lived Experience Volunteer, you will ensure the Plus Importance Project and its activities are representative of all those that identify in the + by sharing your thoughts and experiences on an ad-hoc basis. This is a very flexible role where you will be asked infrequently to share your thoughts and experiences on various topics either by email, an online meeting or an in-person meeting. You may be involved in reviewing resources we've developed on best practice, sharing your thoughts on inclusivity challenges in a particular industry or helping to shape and inform our priorities and strategy.

We are looking for people who identify in the + (or are otherwise closely connected to someone who is in the +, such as a parent of an intersex child) who are willing and confident to share their views, thoughts, comments and experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and providing feedback on resources, information and other content produced by the Plus Importance Project
• Helping shape and support the delivery of the Plus Importance Project
• Supporting the wider work of the Plus Importance Project
