If so, we have two rewarding opportunities available for Female Trainee Support Workers to join our Shared Housing team based in Bristol. You will join us on a full time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week including one 12-8pm shift per week, one Saturday 10am-4pm every 6 weeks and participation in our out of hours telephone on-call rota. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of Pt 7: £22,369 per annum pro rota (NJC pay scale, currently under review) plus benefits.

About the role:
As a trainee, you will be supported to develop the skills, knowledge and competencies to assist in the provision of high-quality support to women in our shared housing. You will be working with women with mental health and complex needs to help them develop the necessary skills to move on to live more independently in the community as well as to connect them with services to improve their overall quality life.
The successful candidate will have:
Empathy with the needs of vulnerable women and the barriers they face
The ability to build relationships with women
The ability to complete risk assessments, needs assessments and support plans
The ability to learn new skills and a commitment to learning in the workplace
A full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
A positive solution focussed approach to problem solving
An understanding of cultural diversity
