Aid Box Community are recruiting ‘FRONT OF HOUSE’ Volunteers to join our busy Free Shop Team , based at 174 Cheltenham Road, BS6 5RE.

We are looking for committed FRONT OF HOUSE Volunteers who are excellent communicators, welcoming, engaging, kind, calm and organised who can grasp new systems quickly and can LEAD when needed.

Volunteers needs

• Tuesdays           10.15am - 3.30pm        x 1 volunteer
• Fridays               10.15am - 3.30pm        x 1 volunteer

Free Shop Volunteer Role

• Welcoming, signing in/registering ABC service users using ABCs IT systems and following ABCs guidelines
• Supporting service users to find what they need
• Receiving, sorting aid donations and stocking shop as per ABC guidelines
• Ensuring Free Shop tidy and well stocked
• Signposting service users as needed (training will be provided)

We welcome and encourage applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds and with additional languages

Commitment required from you:

• To be able to commit to volunteering on a particular day from 10.15am – 3.30pm on a weekly basis for a minimum of 1 year.
• To attending our full induction and training program.

Support you will receive:

• Full Induction & Training – Dates TBC
• Briefings at the beginning and end of each session
• Ongoing wellbeing support
