Criminal Justice Team Leader

The Team Leader will provide leadership, coaching and management of a team delivering criminal justice interventions to service users referred by the police across multiple police force areas. You will be required to represent RISE when meeting with external commissioners and key stakeholders.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience

In order to deliver this role, you will have:

  • Experience of case management and intervention delivery
  • Understanding of offending behaviours, needs and issues.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Hold a relevant degree, a vocational qualification or equivalent experience in working with domestic abuse perpetrators, safeguarding, criminal justice field, policing, social care or other field where experience of working with high level need and/or offending can be demonstrated.
  • Ability to relate positively and empathetically but without collusion.
  • Experience of supervising, coaching and leading teams.
  • Excellent team working attitude and positive experience of stakeholder engagement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Line management
  • Working with external stakeholders at meetings, training days, and presentations
  • Service delivery of interventions including group, 1:1, assessments, and reports
  • Recording and administration
  • Meeting KPIs, working closely with the data team to achieve these
