We are looking for 2 dynamic individuals with proven experience in leading and developing impactful youth work to join our youth work team.
We have available a 20-hour post developing and managing youth work provisions across Patchway and Stoke Gifford, and a 12-hour post developing our mobile and detached youth work in more rural areas to the west of South Gloucestershire. Both roles involve line managing sessional youth workers, planning and delivering at least 2 evenings of youth work, associated administrative and monitoring requirements, and would include enhancing existing provisions and developing further work.
The roles may be combined for a full-time post for the right candidate! Both roles are funded as part of the 5-year South Glos Council commissioned 'Youth Activities Offer' working as part of the active South Glos Youth Work Partnership. The pay rate is within our organisation-wide pay scale and is dependent on youth work qualification. We are a Living Wage and Disability Committed employer. The role will include office space in Patchway, with a flexible approach to working from home and various sites across the areas of delivery. The mobile & detached development worker post will include driving a youth vehicle for weekly sessions (can be driven on a car licence, does not carry passengers), so a clean driving licence is required.
