Details of Role: 

Are you the person that can help us ensure our buildings are maintained to a high standard; are welcoming spaces; and are safe, clean, and functional to meet the needs of our service users and staff?

We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic person to care for our buildings, community spaces and grounds.

The Caretaker role is to ensure that our facilities function safely and effectively on a daily basis. This role is key to ensuring that buildings and spaces are available and fit for purpose at all times.

As Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring that the site is safe and usable, items are moved to the appropriate place, minor repairs are made, and contractors are effectively monitored whilst on site.

Location: The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Bristol, BS3 1QG and The Chessel Centre, Chessel Street, Bristol BS3 3DN.

Salary: £25,144.52 - £26,820.82 per annum (£12.86/hr) depending on hours worked.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37.5 – 40 hours/ week. A job share would be considered.

Holiday: 31 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), with additional long service annual leave days (capped).
