Every year the Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre welcomes approximately 80,000 visitors from all over the UK and world. We have an exhibtion telling the story of the bridge, including a small number of artefacts, as well as provide a growing tours programme, and archival collection. Our Front of House Volunteers provide a warm welcome to all visitors, answering questions both about the bridge and Bristol.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre is operated by the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust (CSBT), a not-for-profit charity, which has been operational since 1 January 1953. The Trust does not receive any local or national government funding, so raises money through tolls to preserve the bridge in perpetuity to the highest possible standards.
