About the team

We are a friendly and dedicated team working to provide a welcoming community space for local residents. Our beautiful 6-acre site comprises of a playful-barn and café, several gardens, a farmyard with a variety of animals, a flower farm and a number of buildings which are used for community activities. We are a public site, open 9-4 seven days a week.

About you

You will be passionate about cleaning and community! If you have experience of caretaking, cleaning, hospitality and/or animal care, then you have transferrable skills and we’d love to hear from you. You will be fully trained to fulfil the role, but prior experience will help you secure the job. This is a hands-on role, with every team member pulling together to maintain a clean, safe and inviting indoor and outdoor environment for the children and adults who use our services and for the public who use our facilities.

Essential criteria: You must have experience of cleaning to a high standard, preferably in a public environment and be able to be flexible and adaptable.

Desirable criteria: Experience of working with animals. Due to the nature of the city farm there maybe times where this post will need to support the farmers. For example, feeding, locking up and maintaining the welfare of the animals.
