Permanent salaried position.  Full-Time or Job share equivalent 37.5 hours a week.  We welcome applicants who wish to job share.  Salary between £22,000 and £25,000 per annum 

Changes Bristol mental health charity is looking to recruit a Service manager (or job share equivalent) to be responsible for the management and day to day delivery of the Changes service we provide.  The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in managing, training and supervising staff and volunteers.  Flexibility and the ability to organise themselves effectively will be important to being successful in the role along with excellent communication skills.

The service primarily involves open access peer support groups that are confidential, empathetic and non-judgemental delivered across Bristol and the surrounding area, for people over 18.  They take place at the same time and place each week, in the daytime and evening, run by volunteers who we train and supervise.  Volunteers are seen as the lifeblood of the charity, and the ability to manage and support volunteers will be crucial to the role.

The service also encompasses various other activities including workshops and training courses.

This is a challenging and rewarding role in a mental health charity that is peer led and looking to expand over the coming years.
